Heathrow International Airport? You suck.
A missive from the Zesty trenches Dear Reader, in which Zesty's fearless Papa Barney travelled to the U.K. on business this week.
The aforementioned Barney arrived at Heathrow to make a connecting flight to Leeds. It took him approximately an hour and a half to get to his connecting flight's gate, which is another epic of effwittery yet to be fully investigated [British Midland, I'm looking at you.]
My father then arrived at his hotel in Leeds, and as planned, has been going about his business in the U.K.
Oh by the way - nobody's asked for his passport yet.

And We're Off...
Something tells me I'll have no shortage of material for this blog.
To wit, first out the gate are Norman Chabot, 51, and Emily Meness 24 of Manawaki, Que.
The Toronto Star reported today that these two masters of duplicity, decided it would be a good idea to poach a moose, in one of Ontario's Provincial parks.
I'll say that again.
The Toronto Star reported today that these two masters of duplicity, decided it would be a good idea to poach a moose, in one of Ontario's PROVINCIAL PARKS - Algonquin to be exact, prime moose country.
After giving attitude to a Park Warden who had stumbled upon them skinning the moose, [skinning! I mean right there, the "it got hit by a car and we wanted to make sure it was ok" excuse is decidedly out the window] , the Lite Brites fled in their vehicle only to be apprehended when the car was stopped by a spike belt. As Oprah would say, LOVE.THAT.
Multiple charges have ensued including unauthorized firearm possession, impaired driving, and uttering death threats to name just a few, not to mention the fact that these people were not eligible for the Algonquin's Nation's annual hunt which does not even start until Tuesday.
They couldn't just buy a Bison burger?
