The Associated Press via the Toronto Star reported today that one Dustin Draper of Indiana has been arrested in Muncie for illegally transporting venomous baby timber rattlesnakes after picking them up at the post office and then taking them home ON A CITY BUS.
Quick thinking posties [and hell, I'm glad somebody was] informed police who were waiting for Draper after he exited public transit. LOVE.THAT.
"I'm sorry sir. You'll need to relinquish your bus pass"
Loser.
Draper is now facing preliminary charges of possession of an endangered species and transportation of a dangerous reptile without a permit.
I don't know what's worse - that he transferred a dangerous reptile or that you can acutally get a permit to do so.
Per the AP
"He wants to be cool and have venomous snakes," said Sgt. Ed Rucker, a DNR conservation officer.
Oh yeah. Cause that is like. so. cool.
F*ckwit.
The only snake you'll find me with is fake, and on a handbag y'all.
